🐾 Halo Eyes, Happy Tails, and a Whole Lot of Love 🐾

Every puppy we raise has their own little personality, and one of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to know each one as they grow. This sweet boy has so many things that make me smile, and I can’t wait for another family to experience them too.

The first thing you’ll probably notice is his beautiful, thick ruby and cream coat. It’s soft, full, and absolutely gorgeous. Then there are his eyes. Around here, we call them halo eyes because they they’re full of expression, curiosity, and sweetness, and somehow they always seem to be telling me exactly what he’s thinking.

And then…there’s that adorable little face.

Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could look at him without smiling.

One thing that always makes me smile is how often he ends up on his back….yes, we may be a bit obsessed with him on his back but it’s great submission training :)  Whether he’s playing, relaxing, or simply enjoying life, it’s become one of those adorable little things that makes him…him.

He’s also such an affectionate little guy. He gives the sweetest puppy kisses, loves to snuggle close, and has a gentle way about him that makes you want to scoop him up and hold him just a little longer. He’s happy to be wherever his people are, and simply enjoys being part of everyday life.

Like all of our puppies, he’s also learning important life skills before ever leaving our home. We believe puppies should go home with more than just love—they should have a solid foundation to help make the transition easier for both the puppy and their new family.

He’s learning to enjoy playing contentedly with his toys by himself, which helps build confidence and independence. He’s currently sleeping from about 10:30 p.m. until 6:30-7:00 a.m., and he’s making wonderful progress with his potty-training fundamentals. Of course, every puppy needs a little time to adjust to a brand-new home, but we work hard to prepare them before that special day ever arrives.

One of the greatest compliments we receive is hearing how well our puppies settle into their new homes. Time after time, families tell us they’re amazed at how prepared their new puppy already is.

One such message came in not too long ago from one of our wonderful families after their puppy’s very first night home:

“Good morning from Louisiana! We put Beckham in her crate by our bed around 11 p.m., and she cried for maybe 30 seconds. At 6 a.m. I realized I had not heard from her all night long. I went to the crate, and she was just sitting up, eyes open, waiting. ❤️”

Those messages never get We receive them all the time. They remind us why we spend so much time socializing, loving, and preparing each puppy before they leave our home. 

This sweet boy has been such a joy to watch grow over the past several weeks. Whether he’s proudly carrying one of his toys around, going on his back, giving gentle little kisses, or looking up with those unforgettable halo eyes, he has a way of making ordinary moments feel extra special.

I truly believe he’s going to bring so much love, laughter, and companionship to the family lucky enough to call him their own.
