🐾 Meet Our Sweet Ruby, Cream & White Girl, Ginger – A Playful Little Cavachon with a Gentle Heart 🐾

Some puppies are born entertainers, and others would much rather pretend the camera isn’t even there. Our sweet little Ginger definitely falls into the second category!

So if she seems a little shy in her photos, be sure to watch her video. That’s where you’ll really start to see her playful personality shine.

We recently introduced Ginger to one of our crepe myrtle trees while filming. Let’s just say she wasn’t nearly as impressed with the tree—or the camera—as we were! She would have much rather been off exploring or playing than posing for pictures. Silly girl. She certainly looked beautiful, even if she wasn’t convinced it was the best use of her afternoon.

Ironically, while Ginger wasn’t trying to steal the spotlight, her adorable little face became quite the hit on social media. I can’t say I was surprised. Between her sweet expression, gorgeous ruby and cream coat, and those precious little white mitten paws, she’s about as cute as they come.

One of the things I enjoy most about raising puppies is introducing them to new sights, sounds, textures, and experiences as they grow and develop. Building confidence starts with lots of gentle, positive exposure, and it’s always fun watching each puppy respond in their own unique way. Ginger likes to think things through first…and then she’s ready to join the adventure.

She’s a wonderful combination of playful and easygoing. She enjoys romping around with her brothers and sisters, but she’s equally content entertaining herself with her favorite toys. Her number one choice is a natural beef trachea—which she thinks is about the greatest invention ever. If that’s not available, she’s perfectly happy trying to carry around Mrs. Caterpillar, her second favorite toy….it’s bigger than she is!

Ginger has such a joyful little spirit. Her happy tail is almost always wagging, she’s generous with her sweet puppy kisses, and she has the gentlest way about her that makes her such a pleasure to spend time with. She’s also perfectly content to curl up nearby and simply “hang out.” Every now and then I’ll try rocking her to sleep in my arms, and while she humors me for a little while, she’s usually quite happy settling into her crate for a good nap after a busy play session.

Another thing that always makes me smile is that she loves watching television. Every puppy has their own funny little quirks, and that’s one of Ginger’s. She’ll quietly watch what’s happening on the screen as if she’s trying to figure out what all the excitement is about.

Although she’s just a little thing, she has a wonderful appetite and is growing beautifully. She’s mastering sleeping through the night, making wonderful progress with her daily routines, and developing into a confident, well-adjusted little girl. We also think she’ll be a fantastic size for families who enjoy traveling and want a companion that’s easy to take along on life’s adventures.

Like all of our puppies, Ginger is being lovingly prepared for life with her forever family. We believe puppies should go home with more than just love—they should also have a strong foundation. That’s why we spend so much time socializing our puppies, encouraging confidence through independent play, introducing new experiences, and helping them become familiar with the routines that make the transition into their new homes so much easier.

One of the greatest compliments we receive is hearing how well our puppies settle in after they go home. Time and time again, families tell us they’re amazed at how quickly their new puppy adjusts, and those messages remind us why we put so much heart into every single day we spend with them.

I truly believe Ginger is going to bring so much happiness to the family lucky enough to call her their own. Whether she’s happily chewing on her favorite toy, , giving sweet little kisses, or quietly watching television beside you, she has a joyful, gentle spirit that’s impossible not to love.
