“Skip” went to be a therapy and emotional support dog for a wonderful and very brave 12-year-old young lady with a rare medical condition. He’s helping her continue to be brave in Massachusetts!
“Chip”, now ‘Charlie” has found his forever home. He will now spend his days between the Hamptons, an apartment overlooking Central Park to West Palm Beach. I think I want to be Charlie! 🙂
What “Chip”, now ‘Charlie’s” new family had to say: “I just wanted to tell you I’ve had dogs all my whole life and this dog is so wonderful and so special. He’s just absolutely the most wonderful thing that is happening in my life. He’s just such a joy and I can’t thank you enough for bringing him into my life. I just wanted to let you know how grateful I was. Thank you.”
What Buttercup, now “Molly’s” new family has to say: “Molly has stolen our hearts. She is such a sweet little girl and is catching on to potty training. We love her temperament. She is so playful but also very content to quietly sit with us. Thanks so much for letting us have this sweet dog!”
Yvonne, Nelle Belle at 8 months. She was groomed yesterday and is looking pretty. Best dog ever!
Healing looks like a 10 week old little bud. Like friends who have cared for us like family. Like a tired mama who would do anything to help her girl sleep. Like conversations + prayers + tiny miracles that led to this moment. Like @comfortconnections + our @covenantknights community.
Healing is slow going and sometimes it’s 1 step forward and 5 steps back. Sometimes it’s chasing a puppy in the yard. Either way we’re doing it together and our cups overflow with gratitude for that.
We told the girls {while little brother was sleeping } that the Lord had put a yes in our hearts for a new dog and then we told them about him. After we looked through pictures and shared why we were making this decision. Emmylou said “just think, God knew Olive would struggle so He made this dog just for her.” my eyes burned with tears. We are holding each other close.
And now we get to hold this guy! Welcome home Harvey. 🤍

Yvonne runs a top notch breeding home. We just got our Jasmine a month ago. She is friendly, so smart, loving and gorgeous. She came to us sleeping through the night. A real blessing. Thank Yvonne.
We love our pup we adopted from you! Bodhi is 3 now and is the best ! Thank you Cavachons By Design
Hi Yvonne, Just a quick note to let you know that Charlie (formerly Zoe) is a doll. We all love her and she has fit into our family perfectly. She sleeps through the night and loves playing with her toys. She’s very relaxed and happy. Thank you for breeding and raising such a great puppy. She seems to like her kennel and I’m glad you started getting her used to it before she came home with us.
We have hired a dog trainer and she is coming this afternoon for Charlie’s first session. We definitely intend to go through with therapy dog training when she’s old enough. Her disposition is a perfect fit!
All the best to you. It was so nice meeting you Yvonne.
Hi Yvonne, I just wanted to share some pictures from our Little Man (aka Oliver’s) first birthday. He has brought so much joy to our lives this past year and is turning into such a well behaved dog. He has the most outgoing personality and everybody loves him. Thank you for bringing him into our lives.
Hi Yvonne, it’s Lexie’s first birthday. We love her SO much. She’s beautiful, loving, and full of personality. Thanks for our precious girl!
Hi Yvonne, Guess who is 10 years old! Happy Birthday Sweet Lexi, chock-full of a Fun Playful Character and a Loving, Confident & Charming Personality!
Hello from the Young’s! Cody is approx. 9 months old now. He’s the best, smartest and cutest dog ever! How did we get so lucky?? Thanks to you!!
Yvonne, Just wanted to send a quick update. Atlas has bonded wonderfully with our family. He is spoiled rotten, pampered, and gets lots of belly rubs. He just finished his AKC STAR puppy class and responds well to several commands (sit, down, stay, mine/leave it, here). He loves to hang out near us on his mat and he loves going places with us. He sleeps well at night and goes willingly to his crate. And he’s starting to ring his potty bells! He’s very much still a puppy but has the best temperament. Thanks so much for matching us together and giving him the best start!
Leo just made it into Canada before the borders closed due to Covid. We have so many Canadians just waiting for the border to open back up so that they can adopt one of our puppies! So glad it worked out for Leo…..he’s much loved!
Hello Yvonne!!
I hope you are doing well! I’ve been loving the new puppy additions on your website as well as the new design for the website! Super cute.
Today was Leo’s 1st birthday!!! We can’t believe he’s already 1. He is such a good boy and we love him so much. He has been such a great addition to our family. He loves biting bones and going to the dog park! He is such a friendly, happy boy.
We can’t thank you enough!I have attached some photos of Leo

We met “Benton” now “Rigby’s” new family at the private airport in Knoxville. They flew in to pick up their new little love up. Rigby will spend his summers in Cabo, Mexico and Nantucket, MA. I THINK I WANT TO BE RIGBY!
This is what his new family had to say:
“Hi Yvonne. It was great to meet you and Grace. Little Rigby is adjusting well to his new home! He slept through the night in his crate, no problems, whining or anything. I was a bit surprised, even though you said he would.
What “Dottie’s” new family has to say: “Just a note to let you know that we are beyond happy with Dottie. She is the most laid back (most of the time), loving dog that we have known. She has slept through all but 1 night. WE LOVE THIS DOG!!!”
Duffy’s forever home in Texas. He flew to his new family with our wonderful flight nanny service. This is what his new “Mommy” had to say: “Oh my goodness, sooooo sweet. It’s evident you did a great job giving him a good start in life.”
Hi Yvonne, my husband and I were so privileged to buy an absolutely beautiful and amazing puppy from you. She was born Jan 2022 and you had named her Annabelle. I just wanted you to know that she is the best thing that ever happened to us. I have attached a few pictures to show you how gorgeous she is. She also turned out to be the kindest, most loving, intuitive baby I have ever known. She is a dream; she loves absolutely everything and everyone. The only time she barks is to alert us that someone is at the door. Oh, and she is fearless-nothing scares her, not even fireworks!! She is so docile and amenable to just about everything that I am in the process of having her certified as a Therapy Dog for. I tested her at the hospital that I work at and she was utterly amazing-like she had already been a Therapy Dog forever. So thank you, the incredible breeding process you have is without question the best. When we took Maxine to the vet the first time, he literally looked at her in awe. He knew right away that she came from excellent breeding.
I had no idea how amazing your “pre-arrival training” was until I got Paddington and heard stories (continue to hear stories and see new pups in friends homes) where the dogs aren’t aware of where to pee and Poo or don’t find comfort in their crates. We are soooo happy we chose you Yvonne!!!
Thank you so much Yvonne! He is just precious!!!
Hi Yvonne, It’s hard to believe that Annie is one year old today! She has been a joy!! Her personality is amazing and she is so lovable. She loves everyone she meets and everyone she meets loves her. She is also so beautiful We love her so much. Thanks for breeding such wonderful puppies!
Hi Yvonne, hope you and your family are doing well. It’s hard to believe that my little boy will be 2 in November! He’s just a bundle of joy, and I thought you might like to see in this video how much he enjoys the water. He’s a great little swimmer! Alss, Oliver likes sitting at the park with the people better than playing with other dogs. 🤣 We love him so much!
How’s this for a birthday party! Cavachons by Design puppy Gia turned 2 and it was time to celebrate! Gia lives in NJ and she had 15 of her furry friends over for an outdoor celebration filled with fun and cake! Even the local paper came!!
After a “ruff” year…..what a way to bring smiles and joy to so many! Happy 2nd birthday Gia….you are well-loved!! Thank you Antonia Palumbo for sharing this special day with us. Even though we couldn’t be there…..we were there in spirit!
Hi Yvonne,
Just wanted you to see Teagan (born May 16th of last year.) Teagan is Irish for “beautiful”, and she is definitely living up to her name. She is also beautiful in temperament . . . so sweet and affectionate. My husband, who was reluctant about getting a puppy, is smitten. He even allows her to sleep with us!
She understands so many words we have to spell when we don’t want her to react.
She brings joy to us every day. We’re just getting ready to drive across the country, and I know she will turn heads wherever we go. People always comment.
Thanks again for this beautiful dog who is interwoven into our lives!
Hi Yvonne, it’s Bentley’s 10th Birthday! Bentley & Lexi celebrated by having some Pooch Birthday Cake ice cream – oh was that good! They both are Healthy & Playful, Loving, and Super Spoiled. We LOVE them so much, and are so incredibly happy that we connected with you in 2011 to adopt the “Best Puppies Ever” from a “Loving & Caring” breeder!!!! 😊❤️
Yvonne, Gia is settling in well in her forever home. We saw the vet on Thursday and she’s a very healthy little girl….no surprise there thanks to you!
Hi Yvonne, this is Winston at 2 yrs. The perfect tailgate birthday party to start a summer of adventures! We are blessed to share life together with such a bundle of happiness, fun, snuggles, and love. A joy to us and everyone he meets! Thank you for him always.
I had the privilege a few weeks ago, of meeting up with Dexter on his way back from FL with his family. On their way home, they stopped by and picked up a sister for Dexter. I’m told that everyone that meets Dexter falls in love! THIS is why I love what I do. RIGHT HERE! So good to see you again buddy…..living your best life…especially when you’re looking out the window of the RV, taking in all that you can possibly take in! www.cavachonsbydesign.com
Thanks, We started taking him out at 1030-11 at night and about 7 in the
morning. He is doing great. No accidents. Also I set up a 4×4 pen in our basement. When we have to be gone for a few hours we put him in there. He is using the pad in his pen. Our kids love him and play with him all day, probably why he’s sleeping so well at night. Thanks for providing us with a great puppy and thanks for such great support. We really do appreciate it.
Hi, Yvonne. Sawyer had a great 2nd week. He has been regularly sleeping thru the night. He also loves going for regular walks throughout the day. He gets his last vaccination next week at the vet and I know that he is really excited to play with other dogs after he gets it. Sawyer is very popular with our friends and neighbors so I would not be surprised if you received a few more inquiries about adopting a Cavachon from people in Manhattan and Westchester, New York. Thanks again – talk to you soon.
Dear Yvonne, this is an update on Flossy. She is growing and is still the cutest, happiest puppy I have
ever had. She is very smart. We adore her. FYI, you have a life long customer with me. I hope all is well with
your family. I just wanted to give you a big THANK YOU for introducing me to this wonderful breed.
Sincerely,
Hi Yvonne, Spike is now 6 months old and is such a wonderful addition to our family. Everyone comments on what an amazing personality he has. He is so playful and hasn’t met a person or another dog he hasn’t liked. He and Jack have become best buds and as you can see from the photo below, he has been roped in to going as the dog from “Men In Black” for Halloween. He has been easy to train and loves to show off all his tricks. Thank you for adding even more joy to our family.
Enjoying the ocean at Bodega Bay.
Hey Yvonne! Reagan has become a member of the K-9 Ambassadors at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga (through H.A.B.I.T). She loves her “job” – but I guess who wouldn’t – getting loved on by your adoring fans would be really ruff ! She even got her own trading card!! Thought you might like to see it! She is also bringing joy to an Alzheimer’s unit at a local assisted living and also to the students of Chattanooga State and UTC! She’s amazing!! Thanks again for bringing this wonderful pup into my life!
Thank you again. You definitely provide the cream of the crop in sweet puppies!
Yvonne-Can’t believe Bode is celebrating his 3rd Birthday-it’s been a wonderful
3 years for us to have him as part of our family-such a delightful and loving
character-loved by all who meet him.
Hi, Yvonne! Happy Halloween and hoping you’re doing well! Bailey is celebrating his third birthday today! He brings us so much joy! He is such a smart and loving boy, full of personality, that has us laughing regularly! Thought you’d enjoy this sweet picture of him with his two favorite girls!
I just wanted to send you a picture of our Griffin (“Theadore”) at almost 6 months. He’s got his 1st big boy haircut today. He is such a smart and sociable dog!
Yvonne,
Thank you for sending me this perfect little boy. We have such a wonderful time together every day.
All my best
Two of our gorgeous “Cavachons by Design” puppies all grown up!
Yvonne,
I thought you would enjoy this photo of Spanky. He was heading to a nursing home to visit the residents. He continues to be the perfect dog. We could not be more pleased.
Dear Yvonne,
I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to share this adorable picture of Lily and Mr Wilson with you. The reason we have Lily is because we fell in love with Wilson and just had to have one of your cavachons. In the summer Lily and Wilson love to hang out in Fire Island together and are the best of friends.
We feel truly blessed. Thank you for giving us the best dog in the world.
Love!
Hi Yvonne,
On Maizey Blue’s first birthday I thought I would touchbase and let you know what joy she has brought us. She is the most perfect addition to our family. She is full of love for everyone she meets and has lots of patience with my boys. On Thanksgiving, we went around the table and talked about what we were grateful for. The first words out of my 7 year old’s mouth were “I am so grateful Maizey is our dog.” Followed right behind was my 4 year old who said “I am also grateful for Yvonne because she gave us Maizey.” But honestly, she is what keeps me sane. She is so loving and sweet and still loves to have her belly rubbed just like when she was a puppy!
ᅠ
As you may remember, I am a clinical psychologist and I am starting to work with Maizey to get her trained to be able to come to work with me and sit with my therapy clients. Thank you again for all of your support. Here are a few pictures so you can see just how wonderful and beautiful she is. I hope you and your family are all well.
xoxo!
Hi Yvonne, I’m getting a lot of Wow comments (e.g. stunning, marvelous, quite majestic, ought to be in a frame) from my family about this particular photo, taken last weekend at Bodega Bay, so thought I would share with you. It truly is a Cavachons By Design majestic photo!
Congratulations to Rachel and Winston (a Cavachons by Design dog) on a job well done!!! After 7 months of very hard work and 56 requirements, Winston is now a CERTIFIED THERAPY DOG!!!!!Winston’s trainer mostly trains police dogs, the police and drug sniffing dogs. This new THERAPY TEAM can now work in retirement homes, hospitals and Hospice. They will be such a BLESSING to so many. Way to go Rachel and Winston!! Thank you for all your hard work and desiring to bring joy to others in their time of need! We are overjoyed with your accomplishment Winston!!ᅠ
“Babette” Before/After grooming pictures. She’s all pretty for her first Christmas!!
Hi Yvonne, Just wanted to say hi and let you know that Bella is doing great. She is sweet, smart, healthy and adorable! She learns very easy and has filled our house of love and laugh. Here are a couple of pictures of her. Thank you for our lovely puppy!! 🙂
Hello Yvonne, We hope you’ve been enjoying this holiday season! Byron and I wanted to fill you in on how Sawyer has been doing. He had a wonderful thanksgiving and first birthday!
He is Mr. Popular in Manhattan, with tons of friends and people always asking him for play dates! We also travel to the suburbs every weekend and he loves running around in the yard. We very recently had a baby girl, and Sawyer has been absolutely amazing with her. I’ve attached some pictures of our little boy all grown up!
We brainstormed so many names for our puppy it’s hard to remember where “Rugby” came in, but my husband and son are big sports fans, and my son loves soccer (close to the game rugby?) so I think the name captured their athletic imaginations, and we all just loved the sound of it. The little guy is really quite sporty at this point, too — you should see him pull and shake his Snuggle Puppy around (I’ve attached a video of this below, along with another cute one). Fortunately he also likes to lie down and rest! — on my lap or even on the rug by my feet (what a little lovey he is!).
Here are a couple of very short, proud-new-puppy-parent videos of Rugby for your amusement:
“Thank You, Yvonne!
Yvonne, I was going through some old e-mails and saw your e-mail. Just want to tell you that Rosie has been the most wonderful puppy. She loves all people, other animals and has a wonderful temperament.. and she is very pretty. She has a boyfriend… it is a 2 year old German Shepard who lives right next door and they love each other. Her best “girl dog friend” lives two doors down, and they play together also. Anyway, great dog all around. We have been very happy.
Hi Yvonne, Duffy went to Puppy Love today for a bath, and look who he ran into! His brother, also named Duffy, also from you. I didn’t drop him off or pick him up, so I didn’t get to see him, but the nice gal at the salon sent me this picture. Apparently Duffy II’s mom, knew my name even…so I have asked the salon gal to send my contact info, so she can call me. I’d love to get a picture of the Duffy Duo!
Hi Yvonne Toby became a certified therapy dog with the national organization of Pet Partners (formerly Delta) in April of this year. Through this organization, a dog is eligible to take the therapy testing at a year of age. I was delighted as we passed the therapy testing only 10 days after Toby was one year of age. He continues to be a fabulous companion and a delightful pet. We have worked with Hospice and, in addition, made many visits to a long term care facility where a family member resides. He brings happiness and smiles to all who interact with him. As you are aware, my goal has been to be involved in a children’s reading program. I am happy to report we will have our first reading visit with children in mid December. Toby and I are a part of a local therapy organization, Caring Canines, which is sponsored by Dogwood Acres Pet Retreat. The reading program is new to our area and I am delighted to be a part of it. Hopefully, I will be able to send you a picture and report of our first reading program visit! Many thanks for a wonderful dog!
Hi Yvonne. Just had to send you this as an update on these two little happy pups. This is how I found them last night when I got off the treadmill. They were watching National Geographic. This is a typical scene around our house. We adore them. They are the two cutest and sweetest puppies in the entire world. Thank you!!
Yvonne, I wanted to update you to let you know what a joy Spanky is to our family. He is completely house-broken (he rings a bell to go out), and he has a number of tricks that he will perform if he wants treats. He has the sweetest disposition that I have ever seen in a dog. Hugh and Trace take him to an assisted living facility at least twice a week, where he gets to “visit” with the residents. He is very calm, but is always excited to see them and let them play with him. He is a good companion for Trace, too. They walk at Lakeshore Park and play football in our back yard. … And he is, quite possibly, the prettiest dog I have ever seen. The brown ear makes him especially cute. He likes to pose with his head to one side, which is absolutely adorable. His coat is long, with a bit of a wave, and the areas of white are “snow white.” The older he gets, the prettier he gets. I hope your family is doing well!
Hi Yvonne, I just wanted to give you an update regarding our new puppy. She is great! A bundle of energy. She seems to really like our golden and wants to play with him, but he is a little big for her to play with right now. But, they are pretty good together when they are chewing their bones. She even snuggled up next to him (with me right there) when they were both chewing on bones. She slept through the night last night from 11:00 p.m. until my husband woke her up at 6:30 a.m. to take her out, and then went back to sleep until 7:30 a.m. I am crate training her, and she is doing very well. So far, so good with respect to everything. We are going to the vet today, and I will bring the health records you provided. Thanks again for everything. My friend, Monica, is still trying to convince her husband to adopt a male Cavachon puppy to keep her older female yellow lab company. Regards,
Hey there! I just wanted to report in and let y’all know we had an amazing night with Bella! She is everything you said she was, curious and sweet, smart, not at all shy, even with a big black Labradoodle jumping all over and trying to herd her around! She is just perfect, the kids and I are just in love! Thanks again for meeting me n Chattanooga and for sharing your amazing puppies! We will keep you posted! Thank you!
Hi Yvonne, I can’t believe how smart she is. She has not had any accidents of either kind for almost 2 days. Totally uses the potty pads and gets excited about being rewarded with her yummy’s. She is such a good girl and has made herself right at home. Happy Trails,
Thanks, We started taking him out at 1030-11 at night and about 7 in the morning.
Hi Yvonne: I just wanted to give you an update on Teddy. He is such a good puppy. He almost always goes on his pad and often will go without any prompting. We are gradually introducing him to the cold and the outside potty. He is sleeping very well in his crate. He wakes up once in the night to go potty but is able to go back to sleep. We went to the vet and he got a clean bill of health. They were so taken with him. Shots start in a week. Thanks again for everything. He is a joy. My husband’s cousin may be contacting you about a puppy. He lives in San Francisco. Take care.
Hello Yvonne, Just wanted to drop you a note saying that we are absolutely thrilled with Oreo. It’s been almost a year now and he is just the best little guy. We couldn’t have imagined a better dog. The girls love him, the wife loves him even more!! His temperament and personality are just so sweet. Thanks and hope all is well,
When Duffy gets his own TV show, he might charge royalty fees on these!
Hi Yvonne Hope you had a wonderful Easter! Finley had a great weekend. We stayed at my brother’s house and he did just great. I brought his crate with me and on Saturday night he slept from 10:30 to 7:45!!!! My nieces adore him and he loves them just as much but he really connected with my oldest niece, Rebecca. Finley also met his cousin Remi the Goldendoodle and did just fine. Remi is big (about 60 lbs) but Finley was not afraid. They touched noses and sized each other up. Remi wanted to play but we didn’t want to overdo it and definitely can’t leave them alone until Finley is much older but it was an excellent first meeting. Finley is also very popular at the rehab facility my Mom is staying at. He’s just a wonderful little guy. Thank you for raising such a smart, affectionate and loving dog. Everyone keeps saying his excellent breeding comes through loud and clear 🙂
Hi Yvonne, I hope you and your family are well and had a lovely Thanksgiving. Although belated, just wanted to let you know how thankful we are for our little man Brody. He’s doing so well and growing every day. We can’t thank you enough for blessing us with such a wonderful puppy. He’s a show stopper on the streets of Manhattan, so well behaved, friendly, playful and affectionate. We love him so much, and can’t thank you enough for delivering to us such a well rounded and handsome little guy. Attached are some recent photos enjoying the outdoors with his brother Otis.
Many thanks again, and best wishes for a wonderful holiday season.
Yvonne, I just wanted to let you know just how good Sadie is doing. She has such a big personality for such a little bit. The whole family is totally in love.
Hi Yvonne, We just wanted you to see our beautiful boys. We absolutely adore them and and are so glad that we went ahead and got them both. They are so sweet and are like two peas in a pod – you can hardly separate them. They are beautiful, cuddly little lap dogs. Thank you so much!
Hi Yvonne, I just wanted to send you a quick note and tell you how much I LOVE Miss Bella. She is everything I wanted and more!! I’m still amazed at what a good dog she is! We just celebrated her 1st birthday and I thought I would share a picture with you. Thanks again!!!
Hi Yvonne, I wanted to share with you a few photos of our driveway wall mural that was completed today. Along with Bentley and Lexi is Sophie our 19 year old cat that passed away on May 18th of this year. The artist/muralist did a great job of painting the pups, really captured the essence of them. Pretty special to us!!!
I bribed Bentley and Lexi with treats to pose for this photo next to their paintings on the mural, to show how well the artist captured the essence of them.
Baxter is settling in very nicely with my brother’s family and is
coming over tomorrow to meet Bentley and Lexi.
Here are pictures of all three each time after they arrived at the airport:
The smith family cannot tell you how much we love our MR Z (Zebo). Regards to your family and thanks for an incredible dog!!
Thanks for your help – Yes, not moistening has helped. I was putting a small amount of water in the food and, apparently, he did not care for that! He is a charming dog and your socialization certainly shows in his behavior. You have done a terrific job!
Toby is an absolute delight! He is such a happy guy and all love him. When walking Toby in town, we are constantly stopped by children and adults who want to interact with him. Toby also visits my mother in law in a long term care facility where he cheers all with whom he comes in contact. In the beginning of October, he will begin his puppy obedience classes as he works his way to be certified as a therapy dog. My question concerns grooming. I can see how you trim the face but am wondering how to handle the body. Do you leave it as is or trim? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Update on Toby:
Hi Yvonne, Toby passed his Canine Good Citizens (CGC) test offered by the AKC this past weekend! He was tested at a Pet Exhibition Show which had numerous distractions and he passed with flying colors. We are having great fun with this process. Our next step will be the Pet Partners designation but he must be one year before he is eligible to take the test. At that time, we will become part of a pet therapy team. He continues to be an absolute delight and brings smiles to all who come in contact with him.
I thought you would appreciate this. She loves to go with me to Dunkin Dounuts in the morning to get my coffee. She is the BEST!
OMG, we are all in love! He did fine on his flights and during the car ride. His tail is wagging, he already had some dinner and water and we are all playing outside!! Thanks tons, will send pix soon…
Yvonne, I love him, I love him, I love him!!! I am at work (really unfair) but will be leaving early. Anyway, just wanted to express my thanks to you – when I got Duke, I think I told you that he was a rescue puppy – he was sickly and skittish and scared of everything and everyone. This little guy shows all the caring and the love he has had – he is happy, sociable, loving, playful yet calm and has a walk like the world was essentially created for him. What a hoot. I put his little leash on and he picked up part of it in his mouth and just absolutely pranced proudly but also very manly!!!! Please let’s keep in touch. I will let you know the names of any potential buyers on my side, something tells me it just may happen!
Warmly,
P.S. If anyone asks about getting a puppy, I will definitely recommend you! It was easy and pleasurable doing business with you. Thanks!
Hi Yvonne. Duke’s groomer put a picture of him on her Facebook page. He is so cute and sweet. He is the best!
Hi Yvonne, We just got home with Piper, everything is going very well. Thanks again for breeding such a beautiful and nice puppy. We’ve all fallen in love with her!
Happy 11th Birthday to our sweet Lexi (with brother Bentley)
Hi Yvonne!
I hope you’re doing well. Duffy is settling in great in his new home! My husband and I are so impressed by the crate training you did before we got him – he goes into the crate without crying and sleeps through the whole night! It has been so fun watching him get comfortable with us and his surroundings; we are loving watching his playful side come out.
It’s hard to believe how fast time has flown- Sadie is now almost 8.5 years old. You can tell from this photo that she knows she’s adored! Thanks for all you do to make puppies with such wonderful personalities. Cheers!
Hello Yvonne, Thank you so much for providing me with such a sweetheart. I hope you continue to breed these fabulous pups forever.
Hi Yvonne. Smart little Daisy has just secured her first AKC title: Canine Good Citizen at 16 months old! I’m so proud of her.
Hi Yvonne!
Brody just celebrated his first birthday and I thought you might want to see how he’s doing.
He is such a sweet and friendly dog. He loves to play and nap but his favorite thing to do is to snuggle with us.
We are often stopped by people asking to take pictures of him because he is so precious looking!
He is a hit everywhere he goes but especially at home. We love him so much and we are so glad we found Brody through you!
Thank you!
Dear Mamma Yvonne,
Daddy turned 69 today. It was just me, Mommy and Dad to celebrate. I get groomed tomorrow. Mom hates that I didn’t look my best, but I am perfectly happy just as I am! We all love each other SO much!!
Love!
Wanted to share a picture of Riley on her first birthday! Thank you for this amazing puppy!
Hi Yvonne,
We celebrated Ollie’s first birthday a couple of weekends ago and thought you’d enjoy seeing these pics. He is such a sweetheart. He loves to chase toys, cuddle, go for walks with his buddy Oreo ( a Cavachon the Nadalini family got from you a few years back) and he loves everyone he meets! He has brought us much happiness and we are so grateful to have him in our lives!
Hope all is well with you!
Just want to send you this picture of Riley. She is so sweet! She is 7 months now and we adore her!
Everyone who comes here, loves Rigley and Bailey so much Guess they have a special touch! A mixture of love, caring and so much fun That’s why our dogs are #1!
They jump and wag when one of us walks in Lots of kisses and licks, that’s where it all begins. When they want attention they jump, “Daddy pick me up, I really am such a good little pup!” And they truly are, I have to say They brighten up each and every day!
We always check on your lovely web sight To check on the new puppies so pretty and bright! The names are amazing and oh so sweet Each pup is adorable- so hard to beat!
We can easily tell that there’s lots of love from you! And thank you for the fabulous job that you do! From the photos to the “blurbs” and the caring each day, You are the best, what more can I say? Your puppies tell the story of love and caring That is why this letter I am sharing To say that Rigley and Bailey are oh so fine Actually, I’d say they are divine! As all of your puppies undoubtedly are That’s why people come from near and far, To purchase a puppy form “Cavachons by Design” this is true Because they not only get a puppy, they get a part of you! Hugs!
I thought you would enjoy this photo of Spanky, who continues to be a delight to all he meets.
Hi Yvonne, Lexi & Bentley wish you & your family and ALL Cavachons By Design Families a season of PAW-fect memories!!! Cheers!
Hi Yvonne, Hope you had a great summer! I just wanted to send you some new pictures of Otis. He is such a wonderful puppy and has brought immeasurable joy to me and my whole family! He is sweet, loving, and playful. And also very smart and easy to train! Thank you for raising such amazing puppies! Love!
I feel blessed that he is in my life.
Yvonne- Happy Holidays! Just wanted to drop a holiday greeting in the mail to you and let you know that Gunner is doing great! We are so happy we made the decision to adopt him. He is sooooo adorable and sweet.
My boys are in LOVE for sure!! He certainly completes the family. I have had so many compliments on him from various people-hats off to you for breeding such lovable little bundles of joy. Again, happy holidays!
Here is a picture of Dexter. He’s such a sweetie and we love him so much! His favorite thing is to play….. he loves for us to throw his ball so he can retrieve it!
I feel so lucky to have Bentley & Lexi in my life!! Thank you Yvonne for these special gifts!! Becky Bentley is hilarious and a “happy” spoiled puppy, Lexi too. Interesting, Bentley recognizes dogs and other animals on the tv or pictures of them on the computer; Lexi not so much, but she copies Bentley. They are both very smart and athletic – great at catching balls midair.
If you are looking for a Cavachon puppy to warm up your life, look no more! After much research on Cavachons and even more research about breeders, we found Cavachons by Design and couldn’t be happier with our Winnie! Everything Cavachons by Design says about their puppies and care is true! One week after receiving our puppy, we are thrilled to say that because of her excellent training and quality of life before she came to us, she is sleeping through the night, is almost potty trained, calm and loving, not to mention the cutest ball of fur on the planet! Yvonne (the breeder0 was like a friend, answering all of our questions, calling us and helping us to choose the best puppy for our needs and lifestyle. If you have any questions (we sure did) about most any aspect of raising a puppy, Cavachons by Design has brilliant information that is user friendly and WORKS!! We couldn’t love or be more happy with Winnie. Best of luck to you!
Hi Yvonne, I have been meaning to write you forever and as a New Year’s resolution highlighting GRATITUDE – now is the time!
We adopted “Kipper” over two years ago and he has brought nothing but sheer joy and love to our entire family and community. His name is Cisco (named for a beach in Nantucket that is sentimental to our family). He is a small, dark, handsome, charming little guy.
Prior to adopting Cisco, my mother became very ill and the emotional weight and sadness of the situation compelled my husband to expedite our search for a puppy – hopefully a Cavachon. In a search locally, we did not find an appropriate fit. Then one evening, our 11 year daughter said she found OUR dog “Kipper” on the internet and he was ready to be adopted!!! After talking with you and reading about all the families you have helped, we took the plunge.
That decision, to hit the “Paypal” has been the BEST financial and emotional investment we have made – dollar for dollar and pound for pound – we never could have imagined the magnitude of love 14 furry lbs. could bring to the world!!!!!
Cisco is ALWAYS loving and his temperament is IDEAL. Ready to relax or run around given the energy in the room. He “works” at my interior design studio as the Happy Ambassador – greeting every delivery person and client with a bone or smile.
Our friends and family fight over who gets to take him while we travel and we are fortunate that a friend (after falling in love with Cisco) adopted his half brother Max.
Whatever your formula is – you have it spot on!!! Not all dogs and breeders are created equally and you are an example of the best! We followed your advice and read the hand outs and everything from day 1 has been smooth sailing
From the bottom of our hearts in Chicago – you have enriched our lives and I couldn’t imagine Cisco not in it. Please continue to bring these lovely little guys into families like ours – it is the gift that keeps on giving!!!
Pete, our window cleaner, absolutely loves our dogs and took a short video of them today doing High 5’s!
We are IN LOVE!! Couldn’t be happier! Thank you for everything!
Hi Yvonne, I thought you would enjoy these pictures of Toby working as a Caring Canine Therapy Dog. The classroom lesson was on how to interact and approach dogs that are unknown to us. At the end of the lesson, the children took an “Oath of Kindness” towards animals and Toby put his paw print at the bottom.
The class time was enjoyed by all including Toby! We are having a great time with our therapy work. Have a wonderful holiday.
Hi Yvonne, I wanted to send you a picture of Cooper at 7 months old, isn’t he adorable. We just love him to pieces, he’s such a joy to have. He was just groomed and loves going to the groomer and being made a fuss over. He is also so spoiled. I love the small size of him, I can take him anywhere. He even comes to work with me and working in a college is great. All the students especially the girls love coming in to play with him and he has so much fun at work. My boss calls him the department mascot. Anyway I wanted you to see how he has grown, and the Vet say’s he is very healthy. (By the way Abby passed away 2/15/14), she fought very hard to stay with us, but we had to let her go. We miss her very much, but thankful we have this little guy in our life:). Thank you so much for raising such wonderful little puppies!
He is even cuter in person! Just leaving the airport and can’t wait to get home and play. Thank you so much!!!
Hi Yvonne, This is Rob and Amy from Albany New York. We purchased Casey (renamed Biscuit) last year in August and just wanted to follow up with you and let you know how wonderful our little Biscuit has been. We could not be happier. Every single time he is out we are asked what breed he is and he is quite the superstar. Feel free to use the picture if you wish and you may contact us anytime for a reference. Hope all is well with you. Kind Regards,
Hi Yvonne. UPDATE!!! We are so exceedingly pleased with our Timmy!! From the first night on, he has been sleeping sound thru the whole night! And we are surprisingly on our way to house training! My David is even progressing so quickly on teaching him to sit and stay. Amazing!! . We’re thrilled with everything about him! Thank You so much for an amazing family member!! Also, to let you know, I just placed the NuVet supplements for our Timmy boy. Thank you so much for such a quality doggie…. We’re very happy. This little guy is well worth the investment on quality!! Sincerely,
Hi Yvonne, Home at last after a long trip on the noisy airplanes. Sheebu slept through most of it and didn’t tinkle into the travel carrier. The TSA agents were delighted with Sheebu’s stunning cuteness and beautiful eyes. They let us through security without the usual hassle, though Sheebu probably would not have objected to a pat down, especially around the belly area. We arrived home to a welcoming group of friends with flowers and balloon at the airport. Sheebu was happy to get home and finally receive some food at 8:30 pm. She quickly devoured her food and water, and did her business on the wee wee pads on the kitchen floor. What a girl! I kept her in her carrier for the night and set it next to my bed, so she could see me. She rumbled around a bit tearing at a tag inside, but went off to sleep. At 6 am I took her downstairs and showed her the wee wee pad again she did her business. What a girl! So, the kitchen has been turned into her playroom where she is running as if training for the marathon. She is getting stronger and today she barked for the first time, what joy! Every moment she is learning about the world and spreading her love. We are so happy with her, she is perfection. We met a young family at the local cafe while having breakfast on the patio. They were very curious who was in the carrier, and so I took her out to meet the family. No surprise, after ten minutes they were in love, and took the information about you. They said they have a small house and she would be the perfect size. There will be many more to follow, I am certain. I’m sending a short video of Sheebu playing with the balloon her first morning. I will send emails as she is growing. You will be proud. Thank you a million times for breeding such quality pups for the world to enjoy. Warm regards,ᅠ
Yvonne, Spike is so precious! He is so friendly and cuddly and not the least bit skittish. When we arrived home, at least 8 neighbors stopped by and he was in heaven. I was worried it would be too much for him but he loved it! He went to everyone and was very playful! Spike slept beautifully on top of his snuggle puppy. He only peed once all day yesterday and was dry all night.
Hello Yvonne… Izzy update. Maddie’s little “love sponge” but she is in need of a bath!! She’s doing great… Enjoy the summer and the new pups coming soon.
Thought you might like to see recent pics of Belle! she is sooooooooo cute!
Yvonne, We received Lola and she is an absolute doll. The kids love her. She did fine her first night, with only a couple short whimpers. She seems to feel comfort in her new crate.
Happy thanksgiving to you and your family from ours. Jake is doing great …he had a happy thanksgiving with lots of kids. He did a great job just hanging out today and his training is going great! He’s a such a great little guy …. Everyone loves him, especially all the kids in this pic. Sadie, the baby in the pic, just loves him and Tyler (holding Sadie) helps us out with potty breaks and treats him like he’s his own. Warm regards,
We love Murray so much! He’s playful, well-behaved and very smart. At three months old he can ready sit and go to his crate on command. Murray is a great addition to our family and we can’t remember life without him! Thanks so much 🙂
Hi Yvonne, Scarlet loves the snow. She is the sweetest. Thanks
Hey Yvonne!! We love our 2 Cavachons so much that we maybe want another! We have Emmie and Cotton (formerly Ginger and Hannah) and they are our obsession!
Hi Yvonne, wanted you to see how nicely Bella and Tessa are bonding. Thank you and your family for helping us pick the perfect little pet for our family. Bella and Tessa are adjusting to each other very well. This comes with sincere appreciation.
Dear Yvonne, I wanted to let you know how Jake is doing, now that we’ve had him for awhile. It’s been a month, and he is thoroughly entwined in our lives. He has the most balanced personality – playful yet a snuggler. He is absolutely adorable, and the kids and extended family all love him. He slept through the night since the third night, and does not object to sleeping in on the weekends!
He has spent a few weekends at the cabin and enjoys lake life, as he gets to be outside most of the day and go for boat rides. You wouldn’t even know we have a puppy in the car – he settles in for a long nap and does really well. No car sickness, thank goodness!
He’s going to puppy classes and doing very well. There’s another Cavachon in class, and the owners are comparing their puppy to Jake weekly. Unfortunately it’s because Jake has such a great personality and their little guy is timid and not social at all. You can definitely tell that Jake came from a loving and balanced home prior to joining us! Thank you for that. The vet even snuggled with him and said that he really has a great personality. He went to the puppy spa today, and the groomer couldn’t get over how well behaved he was — he does well with his baths at home, and she said she could tell he was a very well behaved puppy!
I can’t say enough good things about him …. I can tell he’s a very smart little guy, and my husband is impressed by his lack of barking. Katelynn laughed the other night, because he actually made a noise that sounded like “I want up”. Ryan enjoys having a puppy to run around with him and are great buddies; Katelynn is a little mother to him. We are still working on the potty training — he goes outside no problem, just waiting for the day for him to initiate but we know that comes in time.
Thank you again for everything,
Hi Yvonne!!!!!
Stella is amazing!!!!! Tessa is like a little mom to her. Stella may be the alpha dog eventually. She gives Tess a run for her money with toys. They are constantly taking what the other one has away from each other. I’ll send some more pictures as she grows!!!!!
I love my little pen. I had a trainer over after we got Tess from you and she suggested for my lengthy outings, i.e. golfing, to use that instead of the crate she slept in so she wouldn’t have any accidents in the crate where she slept. I don’t think she even pottied in the pen. Tessa still loves it today…..that is where she wants to be for her down-time. Eventually I will just gate off the mudroom and leave them both there with the door open to the little pen.
Update:
Hope this email finds you and your family doing well. The girls areᅠawesome…. bringing us much happiness and companionship. We can’tᅠimagine not having them. Tessa is such a good big sister and little Stella is such a little love.
Thought you would enjoy seeing them in their Halloween costumes…..Iᅠcouldn’t resist. They are little butterflies…..Aren’t theyᅠbeautiful….oh, and they were just groomed today too……love groom day.
…we are absolutely pleased with Yvonne and our puppy! Sooooo happy…. that we are getting a 2nd puppy (transaction already completed), I couldn’t write the check fast enough! Yvonne and our puppy get a “10” from our family.
Yvonne’s puppies seem to be extra special! And, my husband and I agree, that this puppy has changed our lives in such a positive and healthy way. It’s just amazing how much laughter and happiness this little dog has brought to our entire family and friends!!
I could go on and on…. adorable, smart, loving, etc…..
Sincerely,
Bentley finds out he’s getting a new sister Lexi! He’s soooo
excited!
Love!

Yvonne- I forgot to mention, Lola is a very smart dog and know lots of tricks including playing dead… Here is a short clip of her.
Dear Yvonne, I just wanted to write now that we have had a couple of weeks to settle Pixie into our family and tell you what a joy she is to have around.
She obviously already feels very much at home and is quickly adapting to our household routine. Pixie was sleeping through the night from her 3rd day and has already had great success in the house training department. We think she is a very clever little pup!
She is very sociable and loves meeting new people. We are about to start introducing her to a few “safe” dogs and now that she has had her 2nd set of shots the vet tells us she can begin puppy school. We think it’s safe to assume she’ll be top of her class!!
I’ve attached a picture so you can see how she is looking. Rest assured she is very much loved and pampered. I’ll send you more updates as she grows.
Travis flew into Knoxville to pick Pixie up
Thank you!
