Meet Paddington Rubin & London Weinberg: Two Siblings, One Sweet Friendship

Some puppy stories are extra special—and this is one of them.

Paddington Rubin and London Weinberg are Cavachons by Design siblings who hit the jackpot when they each went to live with two friends. Now, not only do they get to enjoy wonderful families, but they also get to see each other often—and have become the very best of buds.

From week-long “extended sleepovers” to top-down car rides, playdates, and even shopping trips, these two are inseparable. Their adventures are just as full of laughter as they are of tail wags.

Sure, when they first met, Paddington was a little older and had to put up with a few of London’s puppy antics. But now? They’re thick as thieves. Paddington’s grandma adores them both, and London—true to her happy, bubbly personality—has kisses for everyone. Her excitement for life is downright contagious. As her family says, “When she’s happy, she’s like a flatbed truck driving on an icy road—the whole back end is going side to side!”

Paddington, on the other hand, is a little more laid back. He likes to take life in, size up a situation, and then join in when the moment feels just right. Together, they balance each other out perfectly.

Wherever they go—whether it’s brunch plans, leisurely walks or a family outing—these two attract attention. Adults and children alike can’t resist coming over to meet them. And their families know they never have to worry—both Paddington and London are gentle to the core.

They don’t just have adventures—they share life. Lunch dates, lazy afternoons, Sunday strolls, and even helping “taste test” new treats are part of their routine. But most of all, they give Chantal and Susie, their loving owners, hours upon hours of love, laughter, and joy.

With all of their kids away at college, these two pups fill the home with energy and affection. Chantal admits that Paddington helped her adjust to her children being gone. “I wondered if it was a good idea to get our first dog when my son was a senior in high school,” she recalls. “But it was the best thing ever! The kids—both mine and Susie’s—call every day for updates, FaceTimes, and pictures. Without these pups, we probably wouldn’t hear from them for a week at a time!”

Susie laughs in agreement. “It’s so true—my daughter calls me from college wanting to FaceTime to see the dog, not me!”

For Susie, bringing London home was a leap of faith after losing her first Cavachon, Cocoa, at 16 years old. “I was apprehensive at first,” she admits, “but London has brought our family joy, unconditional love, and laughs every single day. She is an angel, and we love her dearly!” London’s playful “Lonnie Lu antics” have become part of the family’s daily rhythm.

Their humans love them deeply and often thank us for the joy these pups bring into their lives. And yes, they’ve even been spotted wearing matching pajamas—because best friends should always be in style.

Stories like Paddington and London’s remind us why we do what we do. These aren’t just dogs—they’re family, adventure buddies, and lifelong companions, nurtured with love from the very beginning.
